An exceptional manager can oversee a given task or project in a planned, organized and controlled manner.  For an exceptional leader, people are willing to walk through walls.  To create lasting change, one must have the capacity to inspire transformation.  In the 21st century, being only one of the above is simply not enough – we need Transformational Leader-Managers.  But don’t just take our word for it.

Our global research combined with a study done by global market research company, TNS, has shown us the following statistics.

Engagement

Two out of every three workers do not identify with or feel motivated to drive their employers business goals and objectives.

Which leads to the question: Why?

Here’s what we found.

Ability24% of the employed view their bosses as Leaders,

48% are viewed as simply in a management role, and

28% are viewed as Bad Bosses

The solution therefore to us was a simple one – focus first on the foundation.

If the foundation of a structure (such as a house) is not built with integrity, or its integrity is not well maintained, everything built upon that structure is at risk.

Broken System

This can be illustrated in the business world by following the likely cause-effect ladder all the way to the financial price it will likely cause, which in turn usually puts even more pressure on  the foundation (managers), creating a cyclical effect.  This is not what we want.

Healthy System

If the foundation is strengthened and maintained by creating transformational leader-managers however, it will lead to the opportunity for further transformation.  A manager will then have the capacity to transform employees who show up for a paycheck into Purpose Driven Partners. They may then transform associates who only feel they work together into High Performance Teams.  And when finally customers are transformed into Advocates, the reward also becomes cyclical.

We as leaders of 21st century management must continue to build and check the bedrock we represent within our organizations in order to cradle the successes we all have the potential to co-create alongside them.  This begins with focusing on the development of ourselves as leaders.  This particular seminar is designed to cover and instill the foundational principals of doing just that, and if you are inspired to do so, we would like to encourage you to join us in our next transformational experience.
